About this class

Podcasting is one of the most exciting and accessible ways to share ideas, tell stories, and connect with the world around you. In Branching Out, you do not just learn about podcasting. You actually make one. Every session moves you a step closer to producing real episodes you can publish, share, and be proud of.

Each class covers a hands-on skill: finding your topic, structuring an episode, learning the recording equipment, interviewing guests, editing audio, and publishing your work. You will use professional-grade tools in a supportive, small-group setting where you can experiment, ask questions, and get feedback.

We also take community excursions to local recording studios and media organizations so you can see how professionals produce audio content. Guest speakers from the podcasting world join us to share their experiences and answer questions directly.
